Rick is a husband, writer, musician, and public speaker. He has served as the Lead Pastor of Vandalia Baptist, located in Vandalia, Ohio, since June 2007. He and his wife Megan previously served as church-planting missionaries for 11 years in Colombia and Spain. Rick was raised in Medellin, Colombia, where his parents served as church-planters for 38 years. He is also the father of five beautiful daughters, and Papa to three awesome grandsons.
